ショパンの遺作のノクターンをお願いしたのですが、下記の3つのご説明が、私にとって大きな学びになりました。
①その曲がショパンの生前に発表されなかった背景
②「左手が伴奏、右手がメロディー」といったショパンの作品に共通する作風・構造
③アルペジオによって分かりにくくなっている和声を、全小節丁寧に解説して下さった事
これらによって、長年苦手意識を持っていた（「他人」のように感じていた）ショパンに対して大分解像度が上がり、レッスン以後練習が楽しく感じるようになったし、暗譜や譜読みの精度や速度も上がったように感じます。
私は絶対に、彼がピアノ演奏者・ピアノ学習者にとってプラスなレッスンをして下さると、確信しています。

Translation
"I took lessons from Bryan in Japan.
I asked him to play Chopin's posthumous nocturne, and the following three explanations were very helpful to me:
① The reason why this piece wasn't published during Chopin's lifetime
② The style and structure common to Chopin's works, such as "left hand accompaniment, right hand melody"
③ He carefully explained every measure of the harmonies that were obscured by arpeggios.
These things have greatly improved my understanding of Chopin, a piece I've long found difficult (and felt like "someone else's"). Since the lesson, I've started to enjoy practicing, and I feel like my memorization and score-reading have improved in accuracy and speed.
I'm absolutely confident that Brian's lessons will be beneficial to both piano players and students.
Above all, I was thrilled by Brian's love for the piano and his passion and respect for the pieces. 🥰
